Description

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex IT and software consulting projects from initiation to delivery. This role involves managing project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets while working with cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will guide project activities, including kickoffs, status updates, and closeouts, while ensuring financial accuracy. Familiarity with Red Hat’s technologies like OpenStack, OpenShift, Ansible, JBoss, and RHEL is essential. The position requires frequent customer interaction and occasional travel to client sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a project manager or scrum master on IT or application development projects
• Knowledge of project management and software delivery methodologies like Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and PMI
• Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, Rally, or Microsoft Project
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Project management or scrum certifications are a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 30% annually for on-site project activities
• Experience with Government, BFSI customers is a plus
• Experience in delivering PaaS solutions is preferred
